CBT is a practical therapy that is useful straight away. I often use it with people who are suffering with anxiety or depression at the beginning of therapy. By looking at small changes in our thinking and behaviour we can for example influence how we feel about something and how it affects us physiologically. This can have an enormous impact if we are suffering with anxiety and/or depression.

CBT can be followed by therapy which allows an understanding of how we are in the world. With greater understanding we can choose change or to live with something differently.
